The last few months of my pregnancy

October 21st - 29 weeks

Baby Shower - November 14th - 32 weeks

November 24th - almost 34 weeks

Time for an update?

Wow....well it has been a looooong time since I have posted. I am going to try and recap the last 18 months. Enjoy! :)

25 week pic and a quick update

Ok first off....I feel like I am getting huge! But, I have only gained 10lbs so I am ok with it....I guess. :) 

I haven't updated in awhile....obviously. I think I have just been preoccupied with school starting and working a new schedule.  Anywho.....the baby is doing great. At my 24 week ultrasound (pics will come eventually) she was weighing 1lb 6oz. I have seen Perinatal and they are just waiting to see what the cardiologist says and then they will determine whether I am high-risk enough to stay with them. Speaking of cardiology....I have my stress test and follow-up appointment this Tuesday. I will hopefully get some answers because I have a Peri appointment on Thursday and my Drs are getting irritated that Cardio is taking their sweet time. I have been having little episodes of SVT (heart rate of 155). It normally happens when I am at work but I will not be offering up that information because I don't want to be taken out of work.  :( That is pretty much it for now. I will update next weekend after my appointments. 

Oh, I think we found a name but I kinda want to keep it a secret. I really love it and I am just not in the mood to hear any negative comments.  And it's kinda fun that way.....right? :)

SO......

IT'S A GIRL!!!

I will admit that I am a little shocked! Up until 2 weeks ago, I was certain this baby was a boy. Then for the last couple weeks, I have been feeling confused and until I woke up one morning and said to myself......I think I'm baking a little girl! But of course I still wasn't super confident. I was in Target yesterday an walked by some little boys plaid shirts and jeans and I got a little sad. Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled to have a little princess but, it is going to take some getting used to. 

During my ultrasound, the tech was talking to us about what she was doing and showing us her little fingers and toes. It was so cute. I am disappointed though that I didn't get any good pics of her. I will post the few pics I have this weekend. But, I do have to have a follow-up ultrasound in 3 weeks because we were not able to get a good view of her heart, face or cord. My tech said she should be able to get better pics since the baby will be bigger then. Let's keep our fingers crossed. 

My little buns heart was beating at 148 bpm and she is weighing 11oz. And I have only gained 2lbs total! YAY!

Oh, and I should add that my OBGYN has decided to refer me to a Perinatologist to look me over and determine if I am high-risk. I guess with all the possible heart-related issues I have, she just wants to have all of her bases covered. I'll let you know something when I know something. 

Time for daddy and I to start thinking about names. This should be interesting.

....4 DAYS TIL MY ULTRASOUND! :) 

Oh, and I went out for sushi tonight and it was amazing!
